CLOSED | Call for Entry: Online Group Exhibition - "Waiting” May 2022

© Amanda Smith

We are excited to announce that our May 2022 online group exhibition, “Waiting,” is being curated by Amanda Smith and Kevin Tully, the Directors of A Smith Gallery in Johnson City, Texas! The deadline for submissions is April 30th, 2022! To enter, all you need to do is read and respond to the following prompt with your analog photography. The best of these images will be showcased in an online show, beginning May 16th, 2022. Good luck!

Prompt:

Waiting for spirits?

Waiting for spirits of longing, love, healing, desire, laughter, peace…

The magical, transcendent thing about waiting is its kinship with hope.

There has been an absence and abundance, simultaneously, of hope in our lives over the past six years. We have consciously and subconsciously found this theme recurring in our work, conversations, and plans. We are excited to see how others have manifested the essence of “Waiting” in their photographic practice.

Deadline for Submissions is April 30th, 2022
